I never knew…
I was reminded…
A question I still have…
I was challenged…
I was convicted…
A truth I could share is…
I was encouraged to…

BE (CONSIDER): What does God’s Word lead me to prayerfully consider?

Is there a command to obey?
How am I compelled to exalt God?
Is there a promise to claim?
Is there a principle to follow?
Is there an example to follow?
Am I convicted to confess any sin?
Is there a sin to avoid?
How do I need to rest in Jesus/the gospel?
How can I pray for someone else?
What am I compelled to love or desire?

How does it help us understand the aim of discipleship? How do we learn and rehearse this song here and now?

How does, or how should, the reality of God’s wrath and an eternal hell influence the song of our lives? How does, or how should, the reality of God’s wrath and an eternal hell influence the way we pray and share with our lost family & friends?

  1. Why is there another call for endurance in this passage (14:12), and how does the promised blessing of v 13 encourage us in our perseverance and endurance?
