Here are some ways that we can be praying for our friends in India:
North East Theological Seminary – The seminary is one of our very important and vital part of our Peniel Gospel Team and its ministries. It has been providing dedicated trained men and women who work and serve in the front lines of the ministry, serving in some of the most harsh and rural regions of northeast India.
- A new academic year begins in the month of July that God will talk to hearts and minds of dedicated young men and women who have been selected to join the seminary to dedicate their hearts for the Lord and also for us to find support for those deserving candidates.
- Praying for two dedicated mentors and teachers who will pour their lives into these young men and women as full time seminary teachers.
Evangelism Teams – Hundreds of homes are being visited by the evangelism teams everyday by the teams. The teams share the Gospel and also hear and pray for the families that need prayer. Every home visited is given a tract and a book called “He lived among us”. This is pictorial book that shares the Gospel and life of Jesus Christ. For people who do not know how to read and write the members in the teams take time to sit down and talk through the pictorial book to share the gospel.
- Please pray for the teams and the members for their safety and their dedication.
- Pray that the teams work with a renewed spirit everyday with the love of the Lord in their heart.
- The teams members need a lot of encouragement and also to know that they are not alone in this work as they serve.
New Church Plants and Mobile Bible Schools – There are a number of new churches that have been planted in the last few years. These are very young churches and require training and discipleship on a constant basis. The Mobile Bible School is very important in our context and it is very important that mature leaders and believers mentor these young churches so that they are fruitful and are not carried away by wrong doctrines or theology.
